BENJAMIN WATSON AND TREYVON HENDERSON WELCOME YOU TO STAND WITH THEM.

“This matters because seeing our brothers and sisters clearly is the first step to standing with them.” — Benjamin Watson

“We all have a platform. I want mine to point toward people who should not be forgotten.” — Treyvon Henderson

THE MOMENT.

Since 2009, more than 50,000 believers have been killed and more than 3.6 million people have been displaced. Thousands of churches and villages have been destroyed.

THE ADVOCACY.

Last December, more than 60 NFL players and coaches signed a letter to Congress and the President calling for action. That advocacy helped raise awareness and contributed to increased attention from the U.S. State Department.

A MOVEMENT, LED BY PLAYERS.

Stand With Them is a player-led campaign running through December, using their platform to help the world see—and stand with—our brothers and sisters in Nigeria.

MEET YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS

“I carry my son to school every day, and wait for him under a tree.”

Gladys was abducted by Boko Haram and held for five years. Now free, she is raising her son, Miracle, with a fierce and daily hope.

ISAIAH 49:15–16

“Our gratitude has no limits. We are even able to worship God again.”

Nancy and Philemon survived an attack that killed their mother and two siblings. Both chose forgiveness.

“I do not hold grudges, not even for a minute, not even in my words.”

Suzanne was shot and blinded by Boko Haram after refusing to leave with them. She survived.

OUR PARTNER: GLOBAL CHRISTIAN RELIEF

Global Christian Relief supports persecuted Christians around the world. In Nigeria’s Middle Belt, GCR works across nine states, providing emergency food and medical care, rebuilding churches and homes, trauma counseling, safe housing, Bibles and discipleship, vocational training for widows, and schools for displaced children.

The goal of this campaign is to raise $1 million to help Nigerian believers rebuild churches and homes, access clean water and emergency relief, receive trauma care, and provide schooling for displaced children.

HOW YOU CAN STAND WITH THEM

1. PRAY.

Every day, meet one real believer by name and pray with them. Start at PrayWithUs.org.

2. GIVE.

Every gift helps a family rebuild, a child return to school, a church rise again.

3. SHARE THEIR STORY.

Watch Gladys’s, Nancy and Philemon’s, or Suzanne’s story, and pass it on.

4. FOLLOW THE MOVEMENT.

Benjamin, Treyvon, and others are sharing this campaign through December. Follow along, and add your own voice.
